Guests are invited to gather for an evening that begins under the stars dining on culinary treasures from Hawaii, Tahiti, New Zealand and Samoa on the beautiful grounds of The Fairmont Orchid at Mauna Lani. This is the Big Island's finest cuisine with it's most spectacular Polynesian production.
The menu includes stations representing various Polynesian islands:
The Island of Samoa; Oka - marinated fish with coconut and lime, Vaisu - chargrilled fish with coconut sauce, Sapasui - beef with ginger and noodles, Coconut Sponge Cake.
The Tahitian Islands; Green Papaya Salad, Papaya Chicekn, Coconut Vanilla Prawns, Pork Curry with Banana, Baked Mango
The Hawaiian Islands; Warabi Salad, Poke, Lau Lau, Poi, Lomi Fish, Tropical Fruit, Kulolo
Aotearoa (New Zealand); Mussel Salad, Lamb Ragout, Kiwi Fruit Tart
This spectacular luau is held every Saturday and Tuesday evening on the grounds of the Fairmont Orchid in Mauna Lani.
