The Island Breeze Luau is held under the stars on the historic grounds of King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel. The hotel is located adjacent to the pier in Kailua Bay, within walking distance of many visitor accommodations in Kailua Kona.
Lei greeting, picture taking, open bar, arts and crafts and imu ceremony are all a part of the welcome and introduction to your Island Breeze 'ohana.
The Royal Court, representing the personages of King Kamehameha I and his retainers, arrives at Kamakahonu Bay aboard an outrigger canoe to a greeting by the Court Conch Herald and Court Chanter.
Ahu'ena Heiau the ancient heiau temple is the last residence of Kamehameha the Great and his final resting place.
From the Fijian and Maori dances of war to the gracefulness of the Hawaiian hula hands Island Breeze Luau brings you and your family a fun filled evening.
Luau is held every Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evening.
Premium seating is called, "Hanohano Package," and requests for this package must be called in directly at 1-877-661-6655. It is available for additional $15.00 per adult and $10.00 per child and is paid upon check-in. Hanohano Package must be requested upon booking the reservation over the phone.
